PRODUCT INFORMATION

 

·        What is Image Sales?
The Wollongong Camera Club Image Sales service provides Digital Photo Images taken by WCC Photographers & Movie Makers of community events. The online Image Sales gallery allows you to browse for current images.

 

·        What do I get when I purchase a photo?
You will receive a high resolution Digital Photo Image (DPI) (1 to 4 MB)

 

·        Will event photos be online?

Yes, as low resolution thumbnails.

·        Do I need to register?
No. At this stage, just follow the simple steps of How to Order.

 

·        Will the Camera Club logo feature on the image I receive?
No, the logo across the middle of each image will not feature on the DPI you receive. This is an electronic copyright watermark which is only present online.

 

·        How will I receive my DPI(s)?

You will receive your DPI(s) as an attachment by e-mail.

 

·        How long will it take to receive my DPI?

Orders are processed Monday to Friday only. Image orders are despatched within 5 working days after payment verification.

 

FINDING & ORDERING

 

·        How do I search for a DPI?
Simply browse the thumbnails on the Sales page.

 

·        I know my picture was taken but I can't find it.

We put all the available pictures of saleable quality on the website. If yours isn't there it means the picture taken wasn't up to scratch (all photographers edit out some poor shots!). Or the picture was taken by someone else.

 

·        Why can’t I find the Movie?

The Movie is in the editing phase of production and shall be available soon.

 

·        How do I order if I have pre-paid?

1.      Browse the Image Sales Gallery and identify the Image you want.

2.      E-mail your Name, Photo Number and Receipt Number to: sales@wollongongcc.org.au

3.      Your return e-mail will have your Image(s) as an attachment.

 

·        How do I order a DPI if I haven’t pre-paid?

1.      Browse the Image Sales Gallery, choose one (or more), note its number(s).

2.      Transfer $5 per image to the Camera Club banking account. BSB ___/___ Account No ____________

      Put your Boat Number & Image Number(s) on the PAYEE REFERENCE line.         

      Eg: 123-B28u. Without this we will be unable to process your order.

3.      E-mail your order with your Name, Phone Number, Boat Number & Image Number(s) to sales@wollongongcc.org.au  

 

PAYMENT

 

·        How do I pay?
At this stage, Bank Transfer in AUD is the only accepted form of payment.

 

·        How do I transfer the money from my account to the Camera Clubs?

It’s easy, either go to the Bank and do it in person (the most secure option) or go to your Financial Institution’s website and Log on to Internet Banking and transfer the funds that way. Remember to include your Boat Number & Photo Number as the PAYEE REFERENCE. Eg: 123-b28u. If we don’t have these numbers we will be unable to identify your payment & cannot process your order.


·        Is my payment secure?

Yes, especially if you’ve transferred the money in person. Financial Institution internet security is some of the best on the net. There is NO third party, NO credit card details, just you & your Banking account transferring directly into our banking account.

Remember to include your Boat Number & Photo Number as the PAYEE REFERENCE. If we don’t have these numbers we will be unable to identify your payment & therefore cannot process your order.

 

·        Can I return a picture for a refund?

No, a DPI is a non-returnable product. Once it has been delivered you could return it and still keep it, having made copies.

                                                                                     

·        I bought the wrong picture. Can I get a refund or replace it with the correct one?

No, see above. Make sure you choose carefully and accurately note the number that you e-mail to us.

 

·        I’ve paid for an Image but can’t find one that I want.

In the unlikely event that you can’t find a picture you want please e-mail us at sales@wollongongcc.org.au  and we will make alternate arrangements. You can only get a refund if we have NOT sent an image.

 

·        What is the difference between a DPI and an EDI?

A Digital Photo Image (DPI) is an ‘event image’ for the purpose of Club fund-raising. An Electronically Displayed Image (EDI) is an image that has been entered into Club competition and may or may not be for sale by arrangement directly with the individual photographer.
